  • WHAT ARE YOUR HOURS OF OPERATION?

    The James B. Beam Distilling Co. is open Monday, Wednesday-Sunday 9:00 a.m.-5:30 p.m. EST. Our on-campus restaurant, The Kitchen Table, is open Monday, Wednesday-Sunday 11:00 am to 5:00 pm. We are currently CLOSED on TUESDAYS. Visit https://www.beamdistilling.com/book-a-tour to check availability and book your experience.

  • IS THE JAMES B. BEAM DISTILLING CO. CLOSED ON HOLIDAYS?

    We will be closed on the following holidays: Easter, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and New Year’s Day.

  • CAN I COME VISIT WITHOUT TAKING A TOUR?

    Yes you can! We have a newly renovated campus - with a two-story gift shop full of merchandise and bourbon.  We welcome you to stop in and shop, walk the grounds and more! Tours and Tastings need to be booked in advance, but you could also purchase a flight or cocktails at our Kitchen Table Restaurant.

  • WHAT IS INCLUDED IN THE MAIN DISTILLERY TOUR?

    Our ‘Beam Made Bourbon’ experience is an all-encompassing tour and tasting that lasts 90 minutes. From showing you how we craft our bourbon to sharing two centuries worth of stories, it takes you behind-the-scenes at the distillery. The tour concludes with a guided tasting at the American Outpost.​

  • DOES BOURBON EXPIRE?

    Due to the fact that this product is a mixture of water and alcohol, shelf life is undefined and in excess of 5 years. The product will maintain an acceptable quality for at least 5 years for un-flavored alcohol and 13 months for flavored alcohol, when stored under ambient conditions and out of direct sunlight. Once opened, it will maintain an acceptable quality for at least 1 year for un-flavored alcohol and 1 month for flavored alcohol when stored under similar conditions. If consumed later than the above recommendations, product taste may vary. It is recommended that storage temperature be between 10°C - 25°C, in a cool clean location.

    Unfortunately, we are unable to share the gluten free status of Jim Beam at this time, as the product and/or processing line has not been validated as gluten free.

  • WHY DID JIM BEAM MOVE TO PLASTIC BOTTLES?

    Like many other industries, we were affected by the global glass supply disruption. This disruption, coupled with increasing consumer demand for our offerings, led to the increased production of our products in PET packaging until the constraint was resolved.
     
    The good news is you should start to see your preferred glass packaging back in stock with your local retailers. Please note, this may depend on the retailer’s current inventory and order history. Additionally, you may be able to request your preferred packaging at your retailer of choice.
  • CAN YOU PROVIDE THE INGREDIENTS FOR X PRODUCT?

  • HOW CAN I FIND A LIMITED EDITION/ SEASONAL RELEASE?

    Please contact your local spirits retailer to see if they currently have this product in stock or if they'll be receiving it soon. We also recommend asking them to place a special order for you with their distributor.

  • WHAT IS NEW ABOUT JIM BEAM BLACK?

    Jim Beam Black has a new label and features a more mature liquid, now aged for seven years and at a higher proof than years past. By aging 7 years in cask, we’re proud to share a smoother and more versatile bourbon than ever before. Jim Beam Black never had a dedicated age statement, instead it was labeled as "Extra-Aged" in comparison to our Jim Beam White label which is aged 4 years. The 7 year is the new permanent product, replacing the Extra-Aged original Jim Beam Black. There may be product left in the market, so for a short time you may be able to find both expressions until the "Extra-Aged" supplies are depleted. Enjoy it in a cocktail or any damn way you please.
