Jim Beam Welcomes the USWNT to Louisville

As the Official Spirit Partner of U.S. Soccer, Jim Beam® was proud to celebrate the U.S. Women's National Team’s big match against Argentina. Played in front of a sold-out crowd, it was the first time in 20 years that the USWNT returned to Louisville, Kentucky—bringing fans together for an unforgettable night in the birthplace of the world’s #1 bourbon.

Before the match, 7th and 8th generation Master Distillers, Fred and Freddie Noe hosted U.S. Soccer legends Ali Krieger and Clint Dempsey for a daylong tour of the James B. Beam Distilling Co. The duos exchange stories of honing their crafts, sipped great bourbon, and swapped gifts as is customary with jerseys at the end of soccer games. The day was capped with an evening where Fred and Freddie hosted Ali and Clint along with other soccer legends like Cobi Jones as well as U.S. Soccer and Beam executives. The night was filled with great conversation, delicious food from the Kitchen Table, and a shared passion for both soccer and bourbon.

The excitement didn’t stop there. The next day, to celebrate the partnership further, Jim Beam and U.S. Soccer took the energy to the pitch at Lynn Family Stadium in Louisville, where the gold-winning U.S. Women’s National Team (USWNT) faced off against Argentina in a thrilling friendly match. Before the match kicked off, Fred and Freddie Noe, joined by Freddie’s family, took to the field for the pregame coin toss, making for a full-circle moment of family, tradition, and sportsmanship. Cheers and excitement filled the air as the USWNT took down Argentina with a 3-0 win.

Jim Beam’s continued support of U.S. Soccer is more than just a sponsorship—it’s a celebration of two iconic American brands coming together to honor tradition, sport, and the shared love of a good drink.
